Mumbai . Actor Nikhilesh Rathore, who played the role of Bharat in the mythological TV serial ‘Shrimad Ramayana’, narrated his experience of shooting ‘Bharat Milap’ in the Chikuwadi forest of Umargam on the outskirts of Gujarat.
Nikhilesh said, “Shooting on real locations was an amazing experience. I will remember it for the rest of my life. It was not so easy because the temperature gets very hot during the day and very cold at night.”
He said, “We were shooting for a mythological character. For this I was wearing heavy jewellery. Due to sunlight, he used to get hot, due to which shooting became difficult. This used to become a challenge for me. Walking barefoot and lifting the heavy palanquin for the scenes was another task. The ground was burning, there were a lot of small insects and thorns.”
The actor further added, “It took a lot of hard work. I hope our hard work in making the scenes look real will impress the audience. This will definitely encourage us more.
Nikhilesh was last seen playing the role of a villain in the TV serial ‘Suhagan’ and has acted in shows like ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’, ‘Mithai’, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ and ‘Krishna Chali London’.
In ‘Shrimad Ramayan’, Sujay Reu is shown in the role of Ram and Prachi Bansal is shown in the role of Sita.
