According to a news on Live Hindustan, the district administration has stepped up action against the defaulting builders. A day after cracking down on the Supertech group, arrest warrants were issued for the proprietors of Rudra, Jatsya and Antriksh Builders. At the same time, orders have been issued to seal the offices of Jaypee Associates, Logix and Mahagun. This action of the district administration has created a stir in the builder lobby.
Supertech’s chairman has already been taken into custody
The district administration on Monday detained RK Arora, chairman of the Supertech Group, one of the biggest defaulters of UP RERA. This gave a kind of signal. The signal went out among the builders that when the screws on a big builder like Supertech are tightened, then what will happen to the smaller one. Means that the district administration will take strict action on these too. It is noteworthy that the Chairman of Supertech Group, R.K. Arora was interrogated in custody by the district administration for not paying the dues. He was later released after his company signed an agreement with the flat buyers for Rs 5 crore, gave a draft of Rs 2 crore and promised to clear the entire dues of Rs 26 crore within this month.
Warrant issued against three builders
According to Alok Gupta, Deputy Collector, Dadri, arrest warrants have been issued against three builders. These include Mukesh Khurana, owner of Rudra Buildwell, Mayank Chawla, owner of Jatsya Builder Company and Rajesh Yadav of Antriksh Builder, who are building various projects in Noida-Greater Noida. Four Tehsil teams are conducting raids at various places to arrest them.
Offices of some builders will be sealed
The district administration issued notices to Jaypee Associates, Logix and Mahagun Builder several times. Even after this, Munadi was made. Even after this the dues were not paid. For this reason their offices will be sealed. The investigation of the bank accounts of Wave, the biggest defaulter of Tehsil, is going on. These bank accounts will be attached if the dues are not paid.
Ansal API also put pressure on
Screws tightened in Sadar Tehsil as well
According to Ankit Kumar, SDM of Sadar tehsil in Noida, Ansal API is the biggest defaulter in the tehsil. RCs worth Rs 33 crore have been issued against this. This RC was recently sent back to Sadar Tehsil for recovery from NCLT. For this, the administration is keeping pressure on Ansal API. The administration’s stance is tough against the other two big defaulters, Sikka Group and Green Way Builder. Rs 160 crore is to be recovered from 380 RCs from a total of 28 builders in Sadar Tehsil. Instructions have been issued for this.
