Who will get the benefit of Suryoday Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana aims to provide electricity to low and middle income individuals through solar panels. Congress called Suryoday Yojana a ‘jumla’
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge termed Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana as another statement of PM Modi. He posted on X and wrote, Prime Minister’s words reach the sun! The Prime Minister announced a new target of installing solar energy panels on the rooftops of one crore houses. The ground reality is that in the last 10 years of BJP rule, not even 10 lakh houses have solar energy panels installed on their rooftops. Earlier, Modi government had made a false promise of installing solar capacity of 40 GW panels by 2022.
