Last time there were five thrusters. This time the lander has one thruster each on all four legs. They will run alternately. • The thrusters which were giving speed to the lander till now, will reduce its speed due to moving in the opposite direction. At one point the speed will be near zero, from where it will be scanning for a safe landing, whether there is a high rock, a pit or a slope. • This time the four legs of the lander are so strong that even if the speed is 3 meters per second while landing, it will land safely. • Solar cells have been installed around the lander so that even if it lands in the wrong place or direction, its solar panels will continue to receive the sun’s rays and generate power.
