New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): More than one in four YouTube creators who are part of its ad sharing program are now making money through the short-form video service Shorts. The company gave this information. More than 25 percent of channels in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) are now earning through the revenue stream since it introduced revenue sharing on Shorts last year.

“Creators who join YPP by meeting more than 80 percent of the Shorts eligibility threshold are now also earning through other YPP monetization features on YouTube,” the company said. “This means that Shorts creators are opening up doors to other ways to earn money on the platform, and they are seeing the benefits,” the company said.

YouTube has paid $70 billion to creators, artists and media companies in the last three years. “With an average of more than 70 billion views per day on Shorts and new ways to make money, the Shorts community is thriving with new forms of creativity and new voices on the platform,” the company said. Alan Chaikin Chow said that revenue sharing on shorts has really changed the game. Alan Chikin Chow has 3.87 crore subscribers.
