Whoever you choose, he will happily agree to play Shahrukh’s father. But Shah Rukh and Farah Khan chose me, and it’s an honor for me. That’s why I will not take any money because of Farah and Shahrukh.

But Farah Khan’s manager refused to accept and said that it is against the rule. The talk went on for a long time. And then Javed Sheikh told him that you go and tell Shahrukh that I will take only one rupee. And I’m not kidding. After this, the team of ‘Om Shanti Om’ itself decided how much fee I would get. According to Javed Sheikh, later when he got his first cheque, he was surprised to see the money.
