Pakistan’s economy on the verge of collapse, Shehbaz Sharif may leave the country before the situation worsens completely

Amidst the deteriorating economic condition of Pakistan, there is news that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has started looking for a safe place abroad for himself. If a relief package is not received from the International Monetary Fund soon, Shehbaz Sharif can secure himself before the Pakistani economy collapses completely. All kinds of speculations are being made about this in Pakistan. Let us tell you that there is a food crisis and petroleum crisis in Pakistan, as well as the Pakistani rupee has reached its lowest level. Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have completely exhausted. Pakistan’s friend China has also refused to give any kind of financial help and has demanded to return its old debt first. International organizations do not want to sink their money by giving any kind of loan to Pakistan, in such a situation, Pakistan is facing the most serious crisis as a nation.

In the midst of severe economic devastation, Pakistan’s troubles are not taking the name of ending. Inflation is skyrocketing and the crisis-hit country is also facing the biggest problem of fuel shortage. Stock has run out at many petrol pumps in major cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad. Many people have started riding cycles by parking their vehicles at home. First of all there is no petrol at the petrol pumps in Pakistan, secondly if it is available anywhere then that too at a very high cost. The Government of Pakistan has proved completely unsuccessful in stopping the black marketing of petrol-diesel-kerosene. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s petroleum minister has warned oil suppliers against any hoarding.

Let us also tell you that due to economic crisis and currency devaluation, Pakistan’s economy is now on the verge of ‘collapse’. Meanwhile, there are also reports that Shehbaz Sharif may run away from the country considering the situation and the kind of anger that is being seen among the local people is showing that if patience responds, the President like Sri Lanka. And the public can enter and attack the Prime Minister’s residence.

On the other hand, if we talk about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, then this area is completely immersed in darkness. There is no electricity here during the day or at night. Due to non-availability of electricity, small businesses have also stopped completely, children are studying in dark rooms in schools, due to non-availability of electricity in offices, no work is being done, most of the People’s mobile phones have been switched off. Banks and ATMs are also closed. People are protesting on the streets but their voice is not reaching Islamabad. The people of PoK are also angry on the fact that all the electricity of this region, which produces the most electricity, is being given to the rest of Pakistan and injustice is being done to the people here.

Apart from Muzaffarabad and surrounding areas, residents of Gilgit-Baltistan have also been forced to live in darkness for the last several weeks due to no electricity. During the day, some work is done in the light of the sun, but as soon as the day sets, the life of the people becomes difficult. Due to darkness on the roads, the danger of falling in the pits is different. The people of PoK say that the government of the area is not able to provide any relief to the people from the government of Pakistan. People say that Pakistan talks about the whole of Kashmir but has been doing atrocities and injustice with its part of Kashmir for decades. Some people say that Imran Khan’s party had won from here in the last elections, for which Shahbaz Sharif’s government is taking revenge by increasing injustice to the people of this area. The local people are demanding India’s intervention and are demonstrating on the streets to get us freedom from Pakistan. Residents of PoK have alleged that the Shehbaz Sharif government has worsened the crisis by violating all agreements signed with the region. Especially Gilgit-Baltistan is struggling the most as the local people are not getting electricity for the whole day.

However, a new hurdle has been stuck in the ongoing talks regarding the release of a relief package from Pakistan’s International Monetary Fund (IMF), which is going through a cash problem. IMF has asked for clarification on some issues, which the Government of Pakistan is struggling to give. It is believed that till now Pakistan, which was surviving on the debt of US dollar and China, has reached this situation from where it is very difficult for it to recover. Therefore, the coming days are going to be more challenging for Pakistan.
