PAYMENT BANK director resigned: Actually Paytm Payment Bank was banned from adding new customers by the Reserve Bank of India in the last week of January. The government has started investigating China’s foreign investment in Paytm Payment Bank.
Earlier last week, the company had also changed the name of its e-commerce business. Paytm E-Commerce was renamed as Pai Platforms. According to this survey, about 49 percent small shopkeepers are now asking people to make payment through other apps instead of Paytm.
