New Delhi: Investor sentiment on Wall Street was mixed overnight. Asian markets turned cautious and traded lower on fears of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve in the next cycle.Indian headline indices started the session with losses. At 11:30 am, the BSE Sensex is trending up by 0.04% to reach the level of 61,055, while the Nifty 50 index has risen by 0.03% to reach the level of 17,936. On Sensex, Reliance Industries, Maruti Suzuki and Tech Mahindra were top gainers, while ITC Ltd, Hindustan Unilever and IndusInd Bank were top losers.
Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Power stocks have been the worst performers in today’s session. BSE Auto and BSE Realty Top have proved to be the top gaining sectors today. On the other hand, there has been a rise in 1,691 shares and a decline in 1,523 shares on the BSE. Today the advance-decline ratio is in favor of advances. Leaving the main indices behind in the border indicator, today BSE’s top smallcap gainer Rossel India Limited’s stock has seen tremendous growth. Its shares jumped more than 18%. At the same time, shares of Technocraft Industries (India) and Zen Technologies have also seen heavy buying. Today these penny stocks have locked the upper circuit. One should keep an eye on this stock in coming days.
