Now pensioners will get 38 percent dearness allowance. Earlier 33 per cent dearness allowance was available. The increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) will benefit about 5 lakh pensioners of the state, pensioners of sixth pay scale will get 11 per cent and pensioners of seventh pay scale will get 5 per cent dearness allowance.

Let us tell you that before the upcoming elections, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led Madhya Pradesh government has announced a huge increase in the dearness allowance for pensioners. Dearness Allowance has been increased to 38%, which is 5% more than the previous rate of 33%.
Five lakh pensioners of the state will be benefited.
Please inform that the total number of pensioners in Madhya Pradesh is around 500000. Dearness Allowance (DA) for pensioners under the sixth pay scale has been increased by 11 per cent, while the DA of pensioners under the seventh pay scale will be increased by 5 per cent. This instruction has been issued by the Finance Department. With this decision of the government, pensioners under the sixth pay scale will now get 212 per cent DA, while pensioners under the seventh pay scale will get 38 per cent DA. The increased DA will be applicable from July 1.
