Petrol-Diesel Price: Once again a huge jump is being seen in the prices of crude oil in the global market. The exchange is closed on Friday due to Good Friday. Earlier on Thursday, WTI Crude Oil rose by 2.24 percent in the market and reached the price of $ 83.17 per barrel. Whereas, Brent Crude Oil jumped 1.61 percent and closed trading at $ 87.48 per barrel. It is being told that after strong spot demand, there was a rise in futures trading due to traders increasing the size of their deals. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the contract of crude oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 26 or 0.38 percent to Rs 6,802 per barrel. It was traded for 3.546 lots.

What is the situation in the four metros?

The prices of petrol and diesel are stable in the country’s capital Delhi. Here petrol is stable at Rs 94.72 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.62 per liter. Whereas, in Mumbai petrol is being sold at Rs 104.21 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.15 and in Kolkata petrol is being sold at Rs 103.94 and diesel at Rs 90.76. In Chennai, there has been an increase of 10 paise in the price of petrol and 09 paise in the price of diesel. Today petrol is available here at Rs 100.85 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.42 per liter.

Petrol and diesel prices in other cities

In Patna, the capital of Bihar, the price of petrol has become costlier by 35 paise to Rs 105.53 per litre. Whereas, the price of diesel has become costlier by 33 paise and is available at Rs 92.37 per liter. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Today the price of petrol here is Rs 104.88 per litre, while the price of diesel has become Rs 90.36. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the price of petrol is stable at Rs 94.65 and the price of diesel is stable at Rs 87.76 per liter. Apart from this, in Gurugram petrol has become costlier by 21 paise and is being sold at Rs 95.05 and diesel is being sold costlier by 22 paise at Rs 87.69 per litre. In Bengaluru, petrol was being sold at Rs 99.89 and diesel at Rs 85.98, in Chandigarh petrol was being sold at Rs 94.22 and diesel at Rs 82.40 and in Hyderabad petrol was being sold at Rs 107.39 and diesel at Rs 95.63 per litre.
