New Delhi. State-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has provided Rs 9,187 crore finance to HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited. PFC gave this information in a statement on Thursday. This is the first project while PFC has provided financial assistance to the refinery and petrochemical sector. The statement said that PFC is contributing to nation building not only through the power sector but also through the infrastructure sector.
PFC, a Maharatna company and the country’s leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in the power sector, HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Ltd. Rs 9,187 crore has been provided to the State Government for setting up a 90 lakh tonnes per annum capacity refinery and petrochemical complex at Barmer in Rajasthan. HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Ltd. (HRRL) is setting up a new refinery and petrochemical complex at Barmer with a project cost of Rs 72,937 crore.
