On April 14, two bike-borne assailants fired about three rounds of bullets outside Galaxy Apartments, the residence of superstar Salman Khan, at around 5 am. According to reports, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was present inside his house when the firing took place. Both the people who opened fire were captured in CCTV cameras. Both the shooters were on bikes and were wearing helmets. Mumbai Police has also recovered the motorcycle of unknown people. According to PTI, a Delhi Police source claimed that one of the two suspects is considered a wanted criminal from Gurugram. According to a TOI report, the police have identified the shooter as Vishal Rahul. Vishal, wanted for several murders and robberies in Haryana, is also a suspect in the murder of businessman Sachin Munjal in March. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol had taken responsibility for the firing outside Salman’s residence. He reportedly wrote on Facebook that the firing was the “first and last warning” to Salman Khan. He posted, “From now on there will be no firing on walls or any empty house.”
