PM Modi will flag off 5 Vande Bharat trains on Tuesday. These include Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express (Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai) Vande Bharat Express), Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express. PM Modi will visit Bhopal on Tuesday. Here he will flag off the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express. Apart from this, he will virtually flag off four trains.
Madhya Pradesh will get these 2 trains
Madhya Pradesh is going to get two Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will connect Mahakaushal area of Madhya Pradesh with capital Bhopal. It will pass through many tourist places of the state. These include Bhedaghat, Panchmarhi and Satpura. These places will benefit from improving connectivity. This train will take half an hour less time than the trains currently running on this route. Similarly, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will connect Malwa and Bundelkhand of the state with Bhopal. This will benefit commuters going to Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho and Panna. It will reach in two and a half hours less time than the trains currently running on this route.
Now go to Goa from Vande Bharat
Goa is also going to get the first Vande Bharat train. The Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa. It will reach one hour faster than the trains currently running on this route. The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect Dharwad, Hubballi and Davangere in Karnataka to capital Bengaluru. This will benefit the students and businessmen of that area. This train will reach half an hour faster than the trains currently running on this route.
Bihar is getting the first Vande Bharat
Bihar and Jharkhand are going to get the gift of Vande Bharat train simultaneously from Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express. This will increase connectivity between the capitals of both the states. This train will prove to be a boon especially for tourists, students and businessmen. This train will reach one hour 25 minutes earlier than the existing trains.
18 Vande Bharat trains currently running in the country
Currently 18 Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. The first Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi-Varanasi in 2019. After this Vande Bharat train ran between New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The first Vande Bharat train of the new era was run between Gandhinagar and Mumbai last year. Railways is continuously running Vande Bharat trains on new routes.
