Police Allowance Hike: Announcement of increase in salary and allowances of police personnel on Independence Day

New Delhi: On the occasion of Independence Day, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced to increase several allowances and start new allowances for police personnel. This will also increase the monthly salary of the police personnel. Madhya Pradesh government has announced to increase petrol allowance, uniform and food allowance to the police personnel.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unfurled the national flag on Tuesday at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day. During this, he said in his address that our police colleagues work day and night to maintain law and order in the state. He said that we have decided that the police constable to sub-inspector level employees will be reimbursed the cost of 15 liters of petrol per month for the journey done for official work.
The Chief Minister said that we have increased the nutritious diet allowance from Rs.650 to Rs.1000 for the employees of the police department from the constable to the officer. He said that work has been done to increase the kit dress allowance for police personnel to Rs 5000. The implementation of these announcements has started.
The Chief Minister had announced several schemes in the Police Parivar Sangam program on 28 July. During this, he had said that 30% of the recruitment in the police force would compulsorily be of daughters. He said that I know very well that the daughters who are working in the police are proving themselves by fulfilling their responsibilities with full devotion.
Madhya Pradesh government made announcements for the police department
Officers of the Madhya Pradesh State Police Service will be given the fifth pay scale.
All police personnel above 45 years of age will be given free health checkup every year.
Weekly off will be ensured for all the policemen in rotation.
25 thousand new houses will be built for policemen.
Uniform allowance of constable and head constable will be Rs 5000 per annum
Officer-employees from constable to sub-inspector level posted in all police stations, who do not have government vehicles, will be given 15 liters of petrol allowance per month.
The rate of free food allowance will be Rs.100 per day.
Nutritious diet allowance of policemen will be made 1000 thousand rupees per month.
SAF jawans will also be given SAF allowance of Rs 1000 per month.
