Mumbai: Today Nifty 50 opened in the red amid weak global cues. Today the Nifty 50 opened at a level of 17,665.75 with a fall. Whereas on Monday it closed at 17,711.45. Indian stock markets were closed on Tuesday due to Holi. The Nasdaq Composite sank 1.25%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average 1.72% and the S&P 500 1.53% in overnight trading. On Wednesday, most of the Asian market indices were trading on the red mark. Barring Japan’s Nikkei 225 index, all others were trading in the red.

At 9:40 am, the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,679.4, down 32.05 points or 0.18%. On the other hand, the broad market indices underperformed the frontline indices. The Nifty Mid-Cap 100 index and the Nifty Small-Cap 100 index were down 0.25% and 0.4%, respectively. Given below is the list of stocks which saw price volume breakout today.
