Mumbai: Today, the first day of the trading week has started with the rise of Nifty 50. The Nifty 50 opened at a level of 17,421.9 today. It had closed at a level of Rs 17,412.9 on Friday, the last trading day of last week. This was despite the global signals of the week. The Nasdaq Composite fell 1.76%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average 1.07% and the S&P 500 1.45% on Friday. Here, the indices of the Asian market have mostly traded with gains. Barring Japan’s Nikkei 225 index, all others were trading in the green.

At 9:55 am, the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,450.7, up 37.8 points or 0.22%. The Nifty Mid-Cap 100 Index and the Nifty Small-Cap 100 Index declined by 0.77% and 0.92%, respectively. Given below is the list of stocks which are witnessing price volume breakout today.
