Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 50 projects worth Rs 50,000 crore in two days

Sources say that before the Lok Sabha elections, the government’s focus will be on completing projects and laying the foundation of new projects in the states where elections are to be held in the next few months. A presentation in this regard was given in a meeting chaired by Modi on Monday. According to this, 560 projects worth Rs 7.6 lakh crore will be inaugurated by February-March next year, while the foundation stone of 350 projects worth Rs 5.6 lakh crore will be laid. Of these, 60 to 65 are signature projects. These are projects that cost more than Rs 5,000 crore or are of strategic importance. These include Chenab Bridge, Pamban Railway Bridge, Sone Bridge, Dwarka Expressway, Ankleshwar-Baroda stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Gorakhpur-Haryana Nuclear Power Project.
Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate two important projects during his two-day visit this week. This includes a new section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway and the Dedicated Freight Corridor. This section connects Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction to Son Nagar. Sources say that around 200 projects are ready for inauguration while 200 more projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2023. Sources say that Modi will first go to Raipur on Friday where he will lay the foundation stone of several projects and inaugurate several projects. This includes the six-lane National Highway between Raipur-Visakhapatnam.
After Raipur, he will go to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and participate in a program of Geeta Press there. He will also flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the redevelopment project of Gorakhpur railway station. The PM will also visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects. These include the four-laning of Varanasi-Jaunpur section on NH-56, renovation of Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat. On Saturday, the Prime Minister will go to Warangal in Telangana where he will lay the foundation stone of several projects. These also include the Nagpur-Vijayawada corridor. After this he will go to Bikaner in Rajasthan.
