Raj Kapoor’s mansion will not be demolished in Pakistan, High Court’s important decision

Mumbai (Best Hindu News): Many types of news keep coming to the fore regarding the mansion of veteran actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor of Hindi cinema and this time again it is in discussion. Actually we are talking about that mansion which is in Pakistan and the court of Pakistan has taken an important decision regarding its demolition.

Please tell that a petition was filed to demolish this mansion of Raj Kapoor, regarding which the court has given its verdict. The court says that this mansion of Raj Kapoor will not be demolished. A bench of Justices Ishtaque Ibrahim and Abdul Shakoor in the Peshawar High Court last week dismissed the petition seeking ownership of the mansion.

This house of Raj Kapoor, popularly known as Kapoor Haveli, was declared a national heritage by the provincial government in the year 2016. The advocate general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province informed the court that the provincial archeology department had declared Kapur Haveli as a national heritage through a notification in 2016. Let us inform that earlier the petition for acquisition of Peshawar-based Dilip Kumar’s mansion was also rejected earlier. Dilip Saheb’s Haveli is situated in Kissa Khwani Baja.

Let us tell you that everyone in the Kapoor family has a connection with the Kapoor Haveli located in Pakistan, but Raj Kapoor has a special connection with it. Actually Raj Kapoor and his uncle Trilok Kapoor were born in this mansion. In such a situation, Raj Kapoor always had a special attachment to this mansion. This mansion was built by Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor, the grandfather of Prithviraj Kapoor i.e. Raj Kapoor. He was a police officer and his posting was in Peshawar. It is said that during the same period between 1918 and 1922 this mansion was built. In the 90s, Rishi and Randhir Kapoor also went to see this mansion.
