The Election Commission said in its announcement that voting will be held in Mizoram on 7 November. Elections in Chhattisgarh, which has a 90-member assembly, will be held in two phases on November 7 and 17.
Elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh and Telangana on 17 and 30 November respectively. Whereas earlier voting in Rajasthan was to be held on 23rd November, now voting will be held on 25th November.
Counting of votes will take place on December 3. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar also said that the elections in these states hold a unique significance as they will act as the last assembly elections before the general elections in 2024.
