Although we got a glimpse of Deepika, Ranveer was not seen. However, if reports are to be believed, Ranveer may play the role of Ranbir’s onscreen father Dev in ‘Brahmastra Part Two’.

Speculations are rife about the roles of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in Ayan Mukherjee’s hit film ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. While Deepika made a brief appearance in the first series as Amrita, Ranveer was absent. However, recent reports suggest that he may play Ranbir’s father Dev in the sequel of ‘Brahmastra Part Two’.

According to News 18, Ranveer is Ayaan’s choice for Dev in the sequel. Currently, the script is in the works and the start date of the filming of ‘Brahmastra 2’ is still unknown. Ayan had announced in April that the Brahmastra sequels would be bigger and more ambitious than the first film, and he was planning to film them together.

‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ marked the beginning of a big-budget fantasy ‘Astraverse’ franchise, with two sequels planned for 2026 and 2027. The story revolves around Shiva (Ranbir) searching for the origin of his powers, which also involves Isha. (Alia), whom he falls in love with instantly.
