RapidX Stations: RapidX stations decorated with peacock feathers

New Delhi : The work of RapidX stations on the country’s first regional rail corridor is almost complete. These RapidX stations are getting everyone’s attention. The reason is its design and color. These RapidX stations are decorated like peacock feathers. Here the outer facades of the stations have been painted in shades of blue and beige. These stations are looking very beautiful in appearance. Both sides of the outer roof of these stations are raised.

5 stations are ready

Five stations on the Regional Rail Corridor from Duhai Depot to Sahibabad are almost ready. The outer facade colors of Duhai Depot, Duhai, Guldhar, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad stations are inspired by the national bird peacock. All the stations of the country’s first regional rapid rail ‘RapidX’ are decorated in the colors of peacock feathers. The façade is made in two shades of blue and beige.

Trains will start running soon

RapidX may soon start operating in the first phase on the Regional Rail Corridor. 5 stations from Duhai Depot to Sahibabad are almost ready. RapidX stations are designed to be airy and open. Natural light can easily come here. The walls of the stations have been fitted with beige colored perforated panels. Along with the railing, beige colored louvers have also been installed.

Raised edges indicate speed

The most important thing about RapidX is its speed. You will also see this in the design of the stations. Both sides of the exterior roof of RapidX stations are raised. It shows speed. The width of RapidX stations varies from station to station.

The colors of peacock feathers even on the foot overbridge

You will find peacock feathers at many places on the country’s first regional rail corridor. Not only the RapidX stations, but even the foot overbridges have been painted in the colors of peacock feathers. Those foot overbridges are covered, so that passengers can avoid sun and rain.
