Real estate is the choice of 65 percent women for investment: Report

A study by real estate consultant Enrock revealed that 65 per cent women prefer real estate as an investment, while 20 per cent women prefer the stock market and only eight per cent women prefer to invest in gold. Around 5,500 people were questioned during this consumer survey, of which 50 per cent were women. According to the report prepared on the basis of this, at least 65 percent of the female participants want to invest in real estate while 20 percent of women preferred investing in the stock market.

As per the report, only eight per cent women preferred to buy gold and seven per cent preferred investing in fixed deposits (FDs). Citing another study, Enrock said that 83 per cent women are looking for a house worth more than Rs 45 lakh. Around 36 per cent women preferred a house priced between Rs 45-90 lakh while 27 per cent preferred a house between Rs 90 lakh and Rs 1.5 crore. On the other hand, the number of women who expressed their desire to buy houses below Rs 45 lakh was less.
