Two cups of lentils
One cup- Moong Dal
Four finely chopped onions
Fenugreek seeds
kashmiri red chilli powder
Two spoons – turmeric powder
Two spoons – cumin
Two spoons – Fennel
dried whole red chilli
coriander leaves
Two spoons – dry mango powder
four cups water
salt as per taste

You can make it like this:

– First of all, soak both the pulses for about half an hour.
– Now put the pulses in the pressure cooker.
– Now add water, salt, turmeric powder and a little oil in the cooker and cook for 2-3 whistles.
– Now heat oil in a pan and crackle cumin seeds in it. Now add fennel and whole red chilli and cook.
-After this add asafoetida and later plantain and fry till it turns golden.
– After this add green coriander, green chilli, Kashmiri red chilli, Kasoori fenugreek and dry mango powder.
-Finally add cooked lentils to it.
-In this way Nagauri Dal Tadka is made.
