Record rise in stock market, Sensex crosses 73000 and Nifty 22000 for the first time

New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): A new record high was made in the stock market on Monday. Major market indices are trading at all-time highs. For the first time, Sensex has crossed 73000 and Nifty has crossed 22000. Maximum purchases are being recorded in the IT sector in the market. 10% upper circuit imposed in Wipro. There is a rise of 4-4 percent in HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra. Earlier on Friday, the Sensex had closed 847 points higher at 72,568.

This week, major companies like HDFC Bank, HUL, Asian Paints, IndusInd Bank and UltraTech Cement will announce their results. This will affect the stock market. Today the movement of the stock market will depend on the wholesale price index based inflation data. Wholesale inflation data for December is coming today.

Adani Enterprises: Its subsidiary Adani New Industries has received a contract from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to set up electrolyser-manufacturing capacity of 198.5 MW annually for the green hydrogen transition scheme.
Wipro: Wipro clocked revenue of Rs 22,150.8 crore from IT services for the December quarter, down 1.09% from the previous quarter.
HCL Technologies: The company performed better than expectations, posting a 13.5% growth in profit at ₹4,350 crore in the December quarter. Revenue also increased by 6.7% to ₹28,446 crore.
