Reliance launches 50-year-old brand Campa in a new avatar, will give direct competition to Pepsi and Coca-Cola

New Delhi : Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has announced the launch of India’s iconic beverage brand Campa. Half a century old brand Campa riding on the shoulders of Reliance has made a comeback in the Indian beverages market. Initially, Campa Cola, Campa Lemon and Campa Orange will be launched in the market. The company has named it ‘The Great Indian Taste’.
By launching the Indian brand Campa in the market, Reliance Industries has challenged the world’s two biggest companies, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, in the Indian beverages market. Market experts predict that Campa will directly break into the market of PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. Reliance is ready to compete with these giants on the basis of its own retail chain in India.

Speaking on the launch, RCPL spokesperson said, “By introducing Campa in its new avatar, we hope that the next generation of consumers will adopt this iconic brand, young consumers will love the new taste. Due to the high consumption in the fast-growing Indian market, there are more opportunities for Campa.
Domestic pack of one or two liters will be presented
He added that apart from packs of 200, 500 and 600 ml, the company would also introduce Campa in domestic packs of 1 and 2 litres. RCPL has rolled out its cold beverage portfolio across India starting with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The company’s vision is to serve Indian consumers with high quality products at affordable rates.
