Finance Minister Nirmala C.The first budget for the year 2023-24 of Amritkal by Tarman is not only a relief to the general public but also in the eyes of experts and a budget to accelerate India’s development. In the eyes of the opposition parties, of course, this may be an election budget, but the budget for the year 2023-24 will be considered a balanced budget from political and economic point of view. While presenting the budget by the Finance Minister, those words were used many times, which also gives the fragrance of the Sanatani culture of the country. The Finance Minister termed this budget as the first budget of ‘Amrit Kaal’. He called the budget’s priorities as ‘Saptarishi’, millets as ‘Shri Anna’ and capacity building scheme for civil servants as ‘Mission Karmayogi’. In the budget, youth power was addressed as ‘Amrit Generation’ and traditional artisans and craftsmen as ‘Karmayogi’. During this, the Finance Minister also used ‘Bharat Shree’, ‘Amrit Dharohar’, ‘Panchamrit’, ‘PM-Pranam’, ‘Vishwakarma’ etc. The Finance Minister said that this budget has seven priorities. They complement each other and act as ‘Saptarishi’ to guide us in ‘Amrit Kaal’. These priorities included inclusive growth, reaching the last person, infrastructure and investment, unleashing potential, green growth, youth power and the financial sector. Explaining the importance of millets, Sitharaman said that we are the largest producer and second largest exporter of ‘Shri Anna’ in the world.

He said that I express my gratitude to the small farmers for the excellent service done by growing these ‘Shri Anna’ and contributing to the health of the countrymen. Now the Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad will be promoted as a Center of Excellence to make India a global hub for ‘Shri Anna’. Sitharaman said that over the centuries, traditional artisans and craftsmen working with their own hand tools have brought laurels to India. He is commonly known as ‘Vishwakarma’. For the first time an assistance package has been conceptualized for them. The ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman’ (PM Vikas) scheme will enable them to integrate with the MSME value chain to improve the quality, scale and reach of their products. Talking about green development, Sitharaman said that India is strongly moving towards ‘Panchamrit’ and zero carbon emission by the year 2070 to bring about green industry and economic transformation. He asked the states to start the ‘PM-PRANAM’ scheme to encourage the use of alternative fertilizers.

Regarding the budget of 2023-24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the first budget of Amrit Kaal has created a strong foundation to fulfill the aspirations and resolutions of a developed India. This budget gives priority to the underprivileged. Tries to make dreams of poor, villages and middle class come true. The traditional artisans of our country are nation builders who know the crafts of carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, sculptors and many more. For the first time, the country has come up with several schemes as a mark of respect to the hard work and creation of these people. PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman i.e. ‘PM Vikas’ will bring a big change in the lives of crores of such Vishwakarmas. This budget will make cooperatives the pivot of development of rural economy.
The budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is being appreciated by everyone, including the general public and the business and industry. The future of the poor, farmers and youth has been kept in mind in the budget. This is a strong foundation for the future of India and a budget that provides relief and development.
