Relief: LPG becomes cheaper, commercial LPG price cut by Rs 172

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): The price of commercial LPG has been cut across the country. This deduction is of Rs 171.50 in 4 metros of the country. The new rates have come into effect from today i.e. May 1. A list of new prices has been released on the website of oil marketing company Indian Oil. Now a 19 kg gas cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1856.50 instead of Rs 2028. In Kolkata it can be bought for Rs.1960.50 instead of Rs.2132 and in Mumbai for Rs.1808.50 instead of Rs.1980. Commercial LPG will now cost Rs 2021.50 in Chennai, while earlier it was Rs 2192.50.
There has been no change in the price of LPG used in the house. Now commercial LPG price in Patna is Rs.2122. Commercial LPG prices were also cut in April. On April 1, commercial LPG became cheaper by Rs 92. Before that, on March 1, its price was increased by Rs 350. On an annual basis, the price of commercial LPG in Delhi has been reduced by about Rs 500 so far. Commercial LPG in May 2022 was Rs 2355.50.
There has been no change in the price of domestic cooking gas today. It is available for Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1112.5 in Mumbai, Rs 1129 in Kolkata and Rs 1118.50 in Chennai. Domestic gas price in Patna is 1201 per cylinder. There was a change in the price of domestic cooking gas on 1 March 2023, when it was made cheaper by Rs 50.
