Republic Day: Our Constitution itself gives us freedom of expression

[ad_1]

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th of January across the country with full spirit of patriotism. People of India eagerly wait for 26 January every year, because on 26 January itself, in 1950, the Indian Constitution was implemented in India with a democratic system. It can be said that our republic was born on 26th January. And India became a democratic country. Our country got independence on 15 August 1947, but on 26 January 1950, India became an independent republic and the rule of law was established in the country through the new Constitution of India. This day is also a day to remember those freedom fighters who fought valiantly to liberate India from the British. On this day, India overcame colonialism to establish the world’s largest democracy.

Republic Day is an appropriate occasion to remember and strengthen the principles of liberty, equality, unity, fraternity and justice for all citizens of India enshrined in our Constitution. Because our Constitution itself gives us freedom of expression. If the citizens of the country follow the things enshrined in the Constitution, it will lead to the emergence of more democratic values in the country. The Constitution of India gives equal rights to everyone, the Indian Constitution never discriminates against anyone on the basis of caste, religion, high-low or rich-poor.

Today undoubtedly India is the emerging power of the world. But even today the country is quite backward. Even today in the country, the birth of a girl child is considered a misfortune, and even today in the conservative society of India, thousands of girls are killed in the fetus. Women are tortured on the streets. Stories of public molestation and rape of women are common in India. On one hand, many youth (which includes a large number of girls) are raising the name of our country. There are many youth who are bringing shame to the country. They are bringing disgrace to the country by kidnapping, molesting and sexually assaulting young girls in broad daylight. We are taught to respect women as soon as we are born, but even today many youth with perverted mentality do not fail to destroy the respect of women as soon as they step out of the house. The most responsible for all this is lack of education. The right to education has been given to us as a fundamental right in the Indian Constitution under Articles 29-30. But even today, women’s education is not considered right in many parts of the country. Along with the Government of India, the Indian society will also have to come forward to promote women’s education. Only then can the darkness of illiteracy in the country be brought to light by lighting the lamp of education.

Today anti-national forces are increasing in the country in the name of freedom of expression, these anti-national forces misinterpret the Constitution. These anti-national forces play an important role in spreading anarchy in the country. Today, anti-national forces in the country are misusing the fundamental rights granted by the Constitution. Misusing freedom of expression is an insult to the Indian Constitution. Today some forces in the country are doing appeasement work and trying to divide the country on the basis of religion. Today in the country, on the instigation of these anti-national forces, some people raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, some raise slogans of India Murdabad and some political parties support such people and protect them. Such anti-national people try to spoil the atmosphere of the country at the instigation of these political parties.

India must have become an independent republic years ago. But even after so many years, discrimination on the basis of religion, caste and richness and poverty is common in the country. Even today people have a feeling of superiority and inferiority on the basis of caste. Even today, feudal ideology is ingrained in people and some rich people still think that wearing good clothes, living in a good house, getting good education and economic development is their only birthright. For this, it is necessary to create awareness among the people in the country through the right to education provided by the Constitution. So that there can be no discrimination in the country on the basis of religion, caste, richness-poverty and gender.

Although it has been nearly 74 years since the Constitution came into force in India, child rights are still being violated in India. Small children of school going age are seen working. Today child labor is a stigma on society. Governments and society will have to work together to end it. At the same time, child labor should be completely banned. Many schemes should be started for the upliftment of children and their rights. Due to which positive impact can be seen on the lives of children. And the right to education should also be made mandatory for all children. All practical measures to eliminate poverty should be used. The problem of child labor will be solved only when every child gets his rights. For this, the society and the country will have to make collective efforts to provide the rights of those children who are deprived of their rights. Today every citizen of the country needs to eradicate child labour. And if any child is seen working as a child laborer in any part of the country, then it is the duty of every citizen of the country to oppose child labour. And take appropriate action in this direction as well as make efforts to ensure their rights.

The right to make laws in the country of India has been given only to the Indian Parliament, the temple of Indian democracy. Whenever a new law is made in India, it passes through both the houses of the Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) and goes to the President. When the President signs that law without any objection, it becomes the law of the country. But today the condition of the Indian Parliament, the supreme institution of Indian democracy that makes laws for the country, is pathetic. Those people who go as representatives in both the houses of the Parliament are the ones who are holding the Parliament hostage today. Whenever the Parliament session starts, instead of discussing, the Parliament members create ruckus. And the members of Parliament, who get all kinds of facilities at the expense of the people of the country, instead of working for the welfare of the country, turn Parliament into a wrestling ground. In which instead of the tricks of wrestling, tricks of accusations and foul language are played. Which is unfortunate. Today there is a need that a strict law should be made for the members of Parliament who make laws for the country. In which there should be strict provisions. So that the Members of Parliament contribute to the welfare of the country instead of creating ruckus in the Parliament.

It may have been many decades since the rule of law was established in India, but even today many people of the country consider themselves above the law. And commit all kinds of crimes. Today there is a need that every citizen of India should be taught the lessons of the laws provided by the Indian Constitution. And awareness should be created to follow them, so that the crimes spreading in the society and country can be stopped. Along with this, the government should make the fundamental rights given to the Indian citizens by the Indian Constitution accessible to the people. Along with the government, Indian society should also play an important role in ensuring that these fundamental rights reach the last man of the country. Only then can India get freedom from conservative thinking.

Republic Day is a day of happiness, on this day all Indian citizens should come together to celebrate the achievements of our democracy and resolve to dedicate themselves in building a peaceful, harmonious and progressive India. Because the country of India has been known for centuries for its sacrifice, sacrifice, devotion, decency, decency, generosity, honesty, and hard work. Only then the whole world knows and believes that there is no other land like India, today India is a diverse, multilingual, and multi-ethnic society. Which has an important place in the world. Today is also a day to salute our brave soldiers who make all Indian citizens feel safe by staying at the border in all kinds of circumstances. At the same time, it is also a day to remember those freedom fighters who played an important role in liberating our country. Today, on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, every citizen of India should reiterate their commitment towards the Indian Constitution and the Republic and pledge to collectively face the challenges facing the country. At the same time, a resolution should be taken to promote education, equality, harmony and transparency in the country. So that the country can move faster on the path of progress.
