Price of LPG cylinder will change
Changes in the prices of LPG cylinders are seen every day. Even in the new year, the general public is keeping an eye on the changes in the price of LPG cylinder. In fact, the change in the price of LPG has a direct impact on the pocket of the common man. Recently, the government had given relief in the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder. There has been no change in the price of LPG cylinder used in cooking gas for the last several days. The public is hopeful that due to the election year and the new year, there may be a decline in the price of LPG cylinder. At present, non-subsidized LPG cylinder is available for Rs 903 in Delhi.
There will be changes regarding bank lockers
The Reserve Bank of India has given time till December 31 to the users to take a decision regarding the bank locker agreement. The Reserve Bank has revised the bank locker agreement. According to this, if customers do not complete the locker agreement by December 31, they may have to vacate their bank locker.
UPI users will have to pay attention
UPI users will also have to keep many things in mind in the new year. January 1, 2024 is going to be a very special day for UPI users. National Payments Corporation of India has decided to close all such UPI IDs which have not been used for 1 year or more. Under this, UPI IDs of online payment apps like Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe are included.
KYC on getting a new SIM card
Some special changes are going to happen in the telecom sector from January 1. The Telecom Department will end the paper-based KYC process for SIM cards from January 1. That is, when purchasing a new SIM card, there will be no need to fill paper forms but only digital KYC will be mandatory.
Changes in ITR filing
The last date for filing income tax was 31 July 2023. However, those who have not paid income tax can pay their income tax till 31 December 2023. Income tax can be deposited along with late fees.
