Saif revealed that Rani Mukherjee had given him advice on dating Kareena.

Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan made a revelation saying that Rani Mukherjee had advised him when she came to know that he was dating Kareena Kapoor.

In the last episode of Tata Play Binge’s ‘Now Bingeing’, Saif and Kareena were asked about their love life.

Saif said, ‘Rani is really amazing, now I enjoy being friends with her more than ever. But she said one thing, I remember we were shooting, and she was like, ‘Let’s shoot fast without stopping and finish it and don’t even take a day off’ and she also said ‘Oh ‘You are going out with Kareena, I am very happy.’

She said, ‘Rani said, I will give you some advice, just think of it as two heroes in the house. I get what he meant, but now more than ever I go back to that advice sometimes. Because it is two people who are equal who are contributing to the cleanliness and sanctity of the house.’

He further said, when one is working the other is working with the children.

Said further, but as I understand it, it was really brilliant advice and what she was saying is a complicated thing, because she was talking about gender roles and do you think it’s better to be at home for my wife. It’s okay to work outside while I’m doing this.’

What the queen meant was that she should be given equal respect.
