Answering a question, the actress said that Munawwar had talked about marriage with her outside the show and inside the show. In an interview to Indian Express, Ayesha, while answering the question of whether Munawar Faruqui had promised marriage, said, ‘He did not (did not propose marriage). I faced him in the show. He also proposed to another girl and he is considering her and me for marriage. But he never directly promised me marriage in any communication.

I thought he (Munawar) would deny all the allegations, but I was surprised when he accepted his mistakes on the very first day and expressed remorse. If I had continued to make an issue of it even after he apologised, the matter would have escalated unnecessarily and people would have thought I was too far away from the game. I apologized and wanted to move on.
