13 including six female contract workers received awards
A special awards program under the Quick Recognition Scheme was organized in the conference room of Hot Strip Mill-1 of Rourkela Steel Plant. Chief General Manager (HSM-1, CRM, SSM, PP & RS) Subrata Kumar presided over the function and presented awards to 13 contract workers including six women contract workers belonging to various contract firms working in Hot Strip Mill-1. On this occasion, General Manager Incharge (HSM-1) Samajdar, General Manager (Personnel) Sanjay Mehrotra and other senior officers and employees of HSM-1, concerned contractors and representatives of the concerned agency were present. Subrata Kumar congratulated the contract workers for their exemplary performance and urged them to continue to maintain the performance of the plant. Samajdar informed the meeting about the work done by the contract workers. Mehrotra explained about various welfare initiatives of RSP for contract workers. Assistant General Manager (Operations) Ajay Pujari conducted the program.
