In the financial year ended March 31, SAIL said in a statement that the production of hot metal (Liquid Iron) increased by 3.6 percent to reach 19.4 million tonnes. The company informed that its annual production during 2022-23 has been the best ever.
It said, “The company’s crude steel production increased by 5.3 per cent year-on-year to reach 18.28 million tonnes, hot metal production increased by 3.6 per cent to 19.4 million tonnes.” continuously expanding and focusing on value added and specialty steel production.
