The film was released in theaters on December 22 and within two days the film has registered strong notes at the box office. Not only is Salaar making huge money at the domestic box office, but the film has also created a record at the global level by doing business worth crores. Despite the clash with Danky, the film’s collection is skyrocketing. Salaar became the biggest opener of the year with a worldwide business of Rs 178.7 crore on the first day. The film has made a strong earning of Rs 117 crore worldwide on the second day. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has given this information by posting it on his official X account. With this, the global business of Salar in two days has now reached Rs 295.7 crore.

Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan are seen playing lead roles along with Prabhas in the film.
