According to a report by SACNL, Sam Bahadur earned Rs 5.50 crore on the first day. On Friday, 1 December, the film got an overall Hindi occupancy of 29.18%.
Meanwhile, according to Saknilk Entertainment, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has created history by crossing the Rs 50 crore mark on its first day. With this achievement, Animal has become Ranbir’s biggest opener till date.
A blockbuster clash is being witnessed in Bollywood, when Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal are facing each other at the box office. Cinema goers are in a big dilemma as to which movie to watch.
Sam Bahadur plays the lead role of Vicky and it is based on the backdrop of the India-Pakistan War of 1971, where Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army, leading to the birth of a new nation, Bangladesh.
It is directed by Meghna Gulzar. It also has Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Govind Namdev, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub and Neeraj Kabi in the supporting cast.
Sam Bahadur was leaked online just hours after its release. Torrent websites like Tamilrockers, Movierulz, TamilMV, Filmyzilla, Ibomma have leaked HD prints of Sam Bahadur. Well, this news was a shock to everyone, as the audience was eagerly waiting for the release of the film on the big screen.
Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub will be seen in Sam Bahadur, a war drama script based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
If media reports are to be believed, it is being said that Sam Bahadur will be available on OTT ZEE5 after its theatrical release. However, the OTT release date of the film has not been revealed yet. Sam Bahadur is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by RSVP Movies.
