SBI extended the last date of this scheme for 400 days, customers will get amazing interest on FD

Even today, most of the people in India see Fixed Deposit as a better option to invest. People keep their money safe by investing in fixed deposits. Meanwhile, State Bank of India (SBI) has given relief to the customers having fixed deposits in their bank.

SBI customers can now avail good interest on fixed deposits. In fact, SBI has extended the last date of Amrit Kalash Yojana, the scheme which gives the highest interest rate on its fixed deposits. In this regard, a circular has been issued by State Bank of India for the customers. According to this circular, the date of SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana has been further extended to 31st December.

That is, now customers will be able to invest in this scheme till 31 December. Earlier, the last date for making fixed deposits through this scheme was 15 August 2023. This scheme was launched in the month of April this year. Investments are made in this scheme for up to 400 days, in which interest is paid on monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis on FD. This money is deposited in the account after deducting TDS.

According to the information available on SBI, investors have to invest in this scheme for 400 days. This is a special FD in which ordinary investors get interest at the rate of 7.10 per cent. On the other hand, senior citizens get 7.60 percent interest under this scheme. That is, after 400 days, if an investor has made an FD of Rs 1 lakh, then he will get an interest of Rs 8017 on this amount, while senior citizens will get Rs 8600. Investors can invest a maximum of two crore rupees under this scheme.

Can also take loan

If an investor has made a fixed deposit through this scheme, then he gets a good refund on maturity. This amount will be deposited in the account after deducting TDS. Under this scheme, the facility of loan is also given to the investor. This Fixed Deposit can be opened by going to Yono Banking App or Bank.
