Scared Prithvi Shaw doesn’t have any friends know his shocking story

He won the Under-19 World Cup as captain and made his international debut with a Test century. However, despite such performances, he could not cement a place in the national team. Despite making his Test debut in 2018, he has not played any international match in the last two years. He also had a disappointing IPL 2023, where he managed just 106 runs in eight matches at an average of 13.25.
Shaw told Cricbuzz, ‘When I was dropped (from the Indian team), I did not know the reason for it. Somebody was saying it could be fitness. I came here (Bengaluru) and cleared all the tests at NCA. Scored runs and returned to the T20 team again. But didn’t get a chance again in the West Indies. I am disappointed but just have to move forward. He said that he wants to remain confined to himself.
He stressed that he is afraid to share his views as it all comes down to social media. Shaw said, ‘As a person, I just like to be by myself. People say many things about me. But those who know me, they also know how I am. I don’t have friends, I don’t like making friends. I’m afraid to share my thoughts. One way or the other it all ends up on social media. I have very few friends, few friends, and even with them I don’t share everything, only some things.’
He further said- If I go out, people will trouble. They’ll put something on social media, so I don’t like to leave out these days. Wherever I go, difficulties arise. I have completely stopped going out. These days, I am even going out for lunch and dinner alone. Now I am starting to like being alone. Shaw is all set to play for Northamptonshire for the rest of the county cricket season in England and will also be a part of the Royal London One-Day Cup starting in August.
