Saithu said, “The main focus areas of HCL Technologies, especially engineering services, is semiconductor chips.
We plan to double our business. There is an internal plan for three-four years for this. I am saying only three or four years because it is ongoing and we are seeing enough demand for it. He said that the semiconductor wafer fabrication unit of the HCL group would be set up in one and a half to two years after getting the approval from the government. Finance has also been arranged for this.
