Tuesday’s trading session brought relief for the Indian stock market. In today’s trading, both Sensex and Nifty indices closed in the green. Sensex closed at 71,555 points with a jump of 483 points or 0.68 percent, Nifty closed at 21,743 points with a jump of 127 points or 0.59 percent. In today’s business, there has been a rise in the stocks of IT, Pharma, FMCG, Energy, Private Bank, Consumer Durables, Healthcare and Oil and Gas sectors. Whereas the shares of Commodity, Media, Metals have closed with a rise.
NIFTY top gainers
On NSE Nifty, COALINDIA shares are up by 4.67 percent, UPL is up by 4.54 percent, AXISBANK is up by 2.28 percent, HDFCLIFE is up by 2.06 percent, WIPRO is up by 2.00 percent.
Breakdown seen in these NIFTY shares
On NSE Nifty, a fall of 12.53 percent was seen in HINDALCO, 3.67 percent in GRASIM, 1.07 percent in DIVISLAB, 1.04 percent in ULTRACEMCO and 0.99 percent in BPCL.

The rupee fell by one paise and closed at 83.01 (provisional) per dollar against the American currency.
