Stock Market Closing Bell: Due to positive attitude of foreign investors amidst better GDP and other important economic data, the main index of the domestic market Nifty reached its highest level ever on Friday, while the Sensex jumped 493 points and closed at the highest level of 11 weeks. BSE Sensex based on 30 shares jumped 492.75 points or 0.74 percent and closed at 67,481.19 points. This is its highest level since September 18. At one time during trading it had increased by 575.89 points to reach 67,564.33. National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also closed at its all-time high level of 20,267.90 by rising 134.75 points or 0.67 percent amid this rise. During trading, Nifty also touched a record level of 20,291.55. Among the companies included in the Sensex, ITC, NTPC, Axis Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints and Tata Steel were the major gainers. On the other hand, there was a declining trend in the shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Wipro, Maruti, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank.
