Share Market Increase in early trading in domestic markets on the last day of the week

Mumbai Amid the positive trend in the global market, there was a rise in early trading in the domestic markets on Friday. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex rose 180.55 points to 71,045.65 points. Nifty stood at 21,313.05 with a gain of 58 points. However, after the initial gains, both the indices became volatile for some time but later started trading with strength again.
Among Sensex companies, shares of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, NTPC, JSW Steel, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finance were among the gainers. Whereas shares of Infosys, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank remained in loss. In other Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi, Japan’s Nikkei and China’s Shanghai Composite were in gain, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was in loss.
US markets closed on a positive note on Thursday. Global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.92 per cent higher at $80.12 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,636.19 crore on Thursday.
