Share Market Last trading week of the year begins, domestic market starts flat

After the Christmas holidays, the Indian stock market has opened once again on 26 December. The last trading week of the year has started, in which business is doing mixed work. According to the data, there was a rise in early trading in the domestic markets on Tuesday, but later a mixed trend was seen from the Asian markets.
On Tuesday, the first trading day of the week, both the indices Sensex and Nifty remained flat in highly volatile trading. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex rose 87.6 points to 71,194.56 in early trade. Nifty stood at 21,389.65 points with a gain of 40.25 points. However, both the indices ended flat in highly volatile trade later. Both the indexes have made a steady start.
Among Sensex companies, shares of NTPC, Tata Steel, Power Grid, Mahindra & Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro and State Bank of India were among the gainers. Whereas shares of Wipro, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services and Maruti remained in loss. In other Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi was in gain, while Japan’s Nikkei and China’s Shanghai Composite were in loss. US markets closed on a positive note on Friday.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.04 percent higher at $79.07 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) had sold shares worth Rs 2,828.94 crore on Friday.
According to the data, there has been a rise in midcap and small cap stocks. Meanwhile, there is a big jump in the shares of Reliance Industries, behind which there is news of merger of Reliance with Walt Disney. Due to this, Reliance shares have jumped to Rs 2,590.65.
Infosys shares fell
Infosys shares also fell in early trade on Tuesday. The collapse of Infosys’ deal worth about $1.5 billion has also had a negative impact on the company’s shares. Infosys shares have fallen two percent.
