Share market recovered, Sensex closed with green mark

Stock Market Closing Bell: Indian stock market had a sluggish start this morning. However, later the market recovered from the day’s low. Till the closing bell, the Sensex was up 0.26 percent or 190.75 points at 72,831.94. Whereas, Nifty rose by 0.33 percent or 72.35 points and closed at 22,084.30. The auto sector was seen in full swing in the market. It rose by about two percent during trading. However, the weakness in the IT index continued till the market closed. Today stocks of 3905 companies were traded in the market. Out of these, 1357 companies were in loss while stocks of 2444 companies closed in the green. At the same time, no change was seen in the shares of 104 companies.
What is the condition of Sensex-Nifty?
There was a decline in the stocks of ten companies on the 30-share Sensex of BSE. Whereas, stocks of 20 companies closed trading in profit. During trading this morning, the IT index was seen falling by about 1198 points. However, by the time the market closed, it closed down by 833 points. Apart from this, all other sectors in the market closed trading in profit. The highest jump of 346 points was seen in the Auto index on Nifty. Growth was also seen in banks, financial services, FMCG, metal, pharma etc. Shares of Hero Motors Corp, Maruti, Sun Pharma, UPL, Apollo Hospitals and Bajaj Auto were among the top gainers in the market today. Whereas, shares of Infosys, Wipro, HCL and TCS were included in the category of top losers.

Due to pressure on IT stocks, weak trend of Asian markets and continuous withdrawal of foreign funds, the two-day rise in the stock markets seemed to be coming to an end in the morning. BSE’s 30-share Sensex fell 413.36 points to 72,227.83 points. The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty slipped 86.8 points to 21,925.15. In Asian markets, South Korea, China and Hong Kong were trading in decline while Japan’s stock market was trading in gains. America’s Wall Street closed with gains on Thursday.
