Share Market: Rise in domestic markets amid positive trend of global markets

Amid positive trend in global markets, domestic markets remained bullish in early trading on Friday. BSE’s 30-share Sensex jumped 414.06 points to 64,494.96 in early trade. Nifty rose 125.5 points to 19,258.75.
Among Sensex companies, Tata Motors shares gained more than two percent. Shares of Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Titan, Mahindra & Mahindra and Sun Pharma also gained. Shares of Tata Steel, NTPC, Asian Paints and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the losers.
In other Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, South Korea’s Kospi and China’s Shanghai Composite were among the gainers. US markets closed on a positive note on Thursday. Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, were trading 0.14 percent higher at $86.97 per barrel.
According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the capital market and sold shares worth Rs 1,261.19 crore on Thursday.
