Share Market Today: On the first trading day of the week i.e. Monday, the Indian stock market started trading with a decline. Both the major indices of the market Sensex and Nifty opened on the red mark.

On Monday, the Sensex opened at a level of 61,579.78 with a gain of 149.90 points. Similarly, the Nifty opened at a level of 18,201.10 with a fall of 2.30 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 stocks are in the red, while 11 stocks are buying.

NTPC is trading with gains of about 2 per cent, 1.33 per cent, Infosys about 1 per cent, Wipro 0.87 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.85 per cent, Tech Mahindra 0.84 per cent and L&T 0.84 per cent.
falling stock
IndusInd Bank is trading down half per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.36 per cent, Nestle 0.30 per cent, Asian Paints 0.29 per cent, ICICI Bank 0.17 per cent and Axis Bank 0.16 per cent.
There was a boom in the market on Friday
Earlier in the last trading session, the stock market was on the rise. On Friday, the BSE Sensex had gained 298 points or 0.48% to close at 61,729. The Nifty 50 index was up 73 points or 0.41% to close at 18,203.
