Share Market Update: Slow start of stock market, slight decline in Sensex

share market update: On the first day of the week i.e. Monday, the Indian stock market is witnessing sluggish business in the beginning today. Nifty has seen almost flat opening with slight fall in Sensex.

In today’s trade, the BSE 30-share index Sensex opened at a level of 66,629 with a fall of 55.12 points. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened at 19,748 with a slight gain of 3.45 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 14 stocks are trading in the green mark with gains and 16 stocks are declining. At the same time, 26 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading with an increase and trading is being seen strongly in 24 stocks.

M&M, L&T, ITC, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors and TCS are the top gainers today followed by Infosys, Wipro, SBI, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, UltraTech Cement, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Maruti, ICICI Bank, PowerGrid in strong gain.
