Shares of the group’s media arm NDTV touched upper circuit on Tuesday. NDTV scrip closed at Rs 238.75, up 4.99 per cent.

The market capitalization of billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani’s group companies rose by over Rs 50,501 crore in a single day on Tuesday. Investors showed interest in the shares of all the 10 listed companies of the group operating from port to power sector. According to stock market data, the total market capitalization (market cap) of 10 Adani group companies crossed Rs 10.6 lakh crore at the end of trading on BSE on Tuesday. Market experts are attributing the increase in the group’s share price to increased interest from domestic investors. “Definitely there is interest in Adani shares from investors like retail investors, HNIs and family offices,” said head of research at a domestic brokerage house.

The Hindenburg issue is now behind and the market is assessing Adani Group on the basis of its financial performance. Shares of group company Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) rose 10 per cent on Tuesday. At the same time, Adani Power’s share climbed 9.3 percent. Group flagship Adani Enterprises saw a two per cent gain, taking its market capitalization to Rs 2.81 lakh crore. Shares of Adani Transmission climbed eight per cent to Rs 834.80 from its previous closing price. With this, the market valuation of the company has now gone up to Rs 93,121 crore. Shares of Adani Wilmar gained 4.57 per cent to Rs 416.65. The market capitalization of the company has increased to Rs 54,151 crore. Adani Total Gas Ltd. (ATGL) gained 5 per cent. The market valuation of the company has reached Rs 72,856 crore.

Similarly, the share of Adani Ports has gained 1.90 percent to reach Rs 749.35. The market capitalization of the company now stands at Rs 1,61,870 crore. Adani’s cement sector company Ambuja Cements also gained 4.10 percent. The market capitalization of the company has increased to Rs 87,418 crore. At the same time, ACC shares rose 4.83 per cent and the valuation of the company has gone up to Rs 35,528 crore. Shares of the group’s media arm NDTV touched upper circuit on Tuesday. NDTV scrip closed at Rs 238.75, up 4.99 per cent.
