With the opening of the market on Monday also, the shares of Adani Group companies started falling. Adani Enterprises shares fell 9.50 per cent in early trade on Monday. Adani Enterprises scrip further fell to Rs 1,433.60 on BSE after opening weak at Rs 1,597.95, showing a decline of 9.50 per cent over its previous closing price, reported news agency Bhasha. However, later it was trading at Rs 1480.65, down 6.54 per cent.

According to the report, shares of Adani Total Gas, Adani Power, Adani Green Energy and Adani Wilmar were also trading at a loss of five per cent on the BSE. At the same time, Adani Transmission came down by 10 percent. On the other hand, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone was trading at Rs 501.50, up 0.53 per cent. Apart from this, another Adani Group company Ambuja Cements declined by 3.28 per cent, ACC by 0.82 per cent and NDTV by 4.98 per cent.

In a report by US-based short seller Hindenburg Research, the Gautam Adani-led group was accused of fraudulent transactions and manipulation of share prices. Since then, the process of decline in the shares of group companies started.
