He told that director Sunil Pal and writer Jitendra Nath Jeetu have kept the environment of the nineties in this film. The story of the film is something like this – one day there is a riot between Hindus and Muslims in a block. After the incident, curfew is imposed by the administration. Although the curfew lasts for a few days, after a few days, relaxation is also given for short periods of time.

Child insists on going to school during curfew

Amidst riots and curfew, a child from a Muslim village insists on going to school, but his father Ashraf remains scared and scared. He wonders how he can take his child to school in such an environment? Still, to fulfill his son’s insistence and the promise made to him, he leaves for school with his son the next day. When he comes across a village of Hindus and Muslims on the way, he uses two colors, saffron and green, for self-defense. But when he reaches school, father Ashraf remembers that the purpose for which he had taken his child to school is not being fulfilled. Actually, on 26th January (Republic Day) the child has to reach school carrying the flag. Then the father makes a flag and gives it to his sons using the same saffron and green colours.

This short film is of 15 minutes, has gained many fame

The actor told that this 15-minute film talks about bringing those two colors together and molding them into the tricolor in today’s social environment divided between saffron and green. Such stories are the biggest need in today’s hate filled environment, through which the world can be made more beautiful by awakening the spark of harmony and unity in the society. The struggle of a son and his father to get out of the house amidst Hindu-Muslim riots is the core of the story. The beauty with which director Sunil Pal has woven the basic spirit of the story into the scenes is truly praiseworthy.

While talking to Prabhat Khabar, the script writer of the film Jitendra Nath Jeetu said that I am the writer of this short film. When Manvendra and I were doing theater in Patna, every day Patna was closed or Bihar was closed. We faced difficulty in going to the theater premises for rehearsals. Let us say that on that day we did not go out anywhere or if we did go out, we could only go out nearby. It was from there that I got the idea to go out on a bicycle wearing the flag of the party that wants to shut down Bihar. Everyone will understand that he is from his party. The situation these days is such that even colors have been taken over by the party. If you wear clothes of any color, people will say that you are a supporter of so-and-so party. While all is one. Director Sunil Pal said that our country is a country of diversity. It is a country of many colours. We have shown that the country should not be divided among itself but should live together.
